Regulatory Agenda
Note: The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) Human Resources Division (HRD) is not engaging in informal or formal rulemaking activities, except where approved by the Governor’s Office, in compliance with Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) § 41-1039.
Pursuant to A.R.S. § 41-1021.02, ADOA HRD has prepared a regulatory agenda for the 2024 calendar year. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 41-1021.02(D), ADOA HRD may undertake rulemaking even if the rulemaking is not included on the annual regulatory agenda. This Agency Regulatory Agenda requirements are for the rules in:
- A.A.C. Title 2, Chapter 1, Article 8, Travel Reduction Program
- A.A.C. Title 2, Chapter 5, State Personnel System (Subchapters A and B; all Articles)
The following information is provided as required by A.R.S. § 41-1021.02:
- Notice of Docket Opening:
- Anticipated for 2 A.A.C. 5, Subchapter A, Articles 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8
- Anticipated for 2 A.A.C. 5, Subchapter B, Article 4

- Review of existing rules: Five-Year Review Report of 2 A.A.C. 5 was submitted in 2023, and is under review by the Governor’s Regulatory Review Council (GRRC)
