LinkedIn Learning Pilot for Arizona State Employees

LinkedinLearningBanner

Great careers don’t just happen; they’re developed through a series of learnings and experiences. We want to see you succeed and help you get there. That’s why we’re working to bring LinkedIn Learning to as many employees across the state as we can. This program gives you access to thousands of courses that can help you discover, develop, and refine skills to help you reach your professional goals.

Get started with LinkedIn Learning

(NOTE:  Check with your agency User Group Administrator (UGA) to see if your agency is participating in the statewide LinkedIn Learning Pilot.  Click here to see the list of UGA’s.)

1. Set up your LinkedIn Learning account

**Specific account creation instructions to follow.**

When you first log in, it is highly recommended to connect your account with your personal LinkedIn account. After you log in, select your job title and any skills you’re interested in learning more about. Then let the learning begin! You’ll have access to all of the courses online or on the LinkedIn Learning mobile app. You’ll even receive personalized course recommendations from LinkedIn.  (See FAQs for more information on how to link or unlink LinkedIn Learning from your LinkedIn account).

2. Create your development plan

With thousands of courses on countless topics, it can be difficult to know where to start. Not sure where to start? Check out some recommended learning paths.

3. Complete required courses

All participants are required to take “An overview of using LinkedIn Learning”. Get started here, then learn about other required courses from your agency; if any have been set up.

4. Keep your development conversations going

Throughout your training, keep conversations about your development going with your manager or mentor. Look for new areas of focus, dig deeper into a skill, or make course recommendations to others.

5. Testimonials

"Linkedin Learning was a great resource to have as I entered a new role and wanted to immerse myself in the culture of the role. Linkedin Learning had multiple learning tracks for the HR Business Partner role as well as HR in general, keeping me up to date with various practices and introducing me to new ones. On top of that, the pace of the videos and certifications are great and I was easily able to incorporate them into my day-to-day workflow" - Marisella Gomez, Human Resources Business Partner - ADOA

"I was introduced to LinkedIn Learning Online Courses last September.   Once I logged in for the first time, I was immediately hooked!  I have completed a variety of training courses, all easily accessible, on topics that have helped in my professional development.    The knowledge and skills that I’ve gained through LinkedIn Learning have provided me the advantage of gaining a deeper understanding of business acumen, business communication and time management to name a few.  I continue to be amazed at the variety of courses available through LinkedIn Learning" - Evelyn A. Garcia, Class/Comp Analyst, SME - ADOA

"I really enjoy taking courses on LinkedIn Learning.  It has really expanded my knowledge of the Analytics world as well as sharpening my skills with Microsoft and Google products.  It is very simple to use and it comes with the convenience of learning at your own pace from any device.  Better yet, it is free for state employees"  - Luis M. Bustamante, Recruiter – ADOA
